Green Shield Risk Solutions Acquires CartoFront, Expanding Reach into Real Estate Vertical

CartoFront CEO Jason Harris Joins as Senior Vice President of Channel Partnerships
Green Shield Risk Solutions, a leader in wildfire risk analytics, mitigation intelligence and insurability solutions, today announced its acquisition of CartoFront, a pioneering insurtech platform simplifying the integration of flood insurance insights into real estate workflows. As part of the acquisition, Jason Harris, former CEO of CartoFront, joins Green Shield’s executive team as Senior Vice President of Channel Partnerships.
The acquisition marks a major step in Green Shield’s mission to solve the growing “insurability crisis” by delivering smart, scalable tools where they’re needed most. It builds on the momentum of Property Guardian InsurAble, Green Shield’s new solution for California realtors, immediately estimates insurability and insurance costs, measures wildfire risk, and offers wildfire mitigation recommendations specific to a selected parcel. Most importantly, InsurAble connects buyers with licensed insurance brokers to secure real, bindable property insurance quotes, helping high-risk deals move forward with clarity. CartoFront’s deep real estate partnerships now accelerate Green Shield’s ability to scale these solutions nationwide.

He also spearheaded initiatives to attract major global brands like GE and Rolls-Royce to one of President Obama’s Innovation Labs in Chicago.
